European Union Flag

Originally designed and adopted by the Council of Europe in 1955, the European Union flag now symbolizes the European Union itself as well as the identity and unity of Europe as a whole. The flag design consists of a blue field with a circle of twelve gold stars that represent “perfection and entirety”.
