The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are the federal and national police force of Canada. The RCMP provices law enforcement at the federal level to ensure the security of Canadians. They are divided into divisions, plus the headquarters in Ottawa. Each division has a commanding officer and is alphabetically designated.
