The Bisexual flag is a bold representation of identity, love, and acceptance, designed by Michael Page in 1998, representing bisexuality, bisexual individuals and the diverse bisexual community.

Designs and colours

  • The pink stripe signifies same-sex attraction, while
  • The blue stripe symbolizes attraction to the opposite sex.
  • The Purple stripe, the resulting “overlap” of the blue and pink stripes, represents attraction to both sexes.

    These colours form a powerful and inclusive symbol for the bisexual community.
